All pupils are tested on entry to Kings’ and are placed in ability sets within the first half-term of Year 7. The National Curriculum is taught with the individual in mind. All pupils follow a core curriculum which includes Business Communications Studies (BCS). In Year 7 all pupils will study one of the following foreign languages: French, Spanish, Italian or German. ByYear 8 the more able linguists are offered a second language from: French, Spanish, Latin, German or Italian.
